Invisible Bond is an application option using our Hitch Premium petite tape extensions. A single tape is fitted with a specialised seal above the bond, creating a flat, discreet connection.
It is particularly useful in visible areas where we want the attachment to be less noticeable, including the top row or two and suitable areas close to your parting.

A single-sided connection uses one extension piece. A sandwich connection uses two, with a fine section of your own hair between them.
For a fuller head, we use double-sided sandwich tapes through the lower, middle and internal rows. This lets us fit the fullness and thickness needed for the blend, with Invisible Bond on the top row or two for a discreet finish.
We choose the combination around the amount of hair you need and the result you want.

As your own hair grows, the connections move further from the scalp. At maintenance, we professionally release the bonds, prepare the extensions and refit them closer to the roots.
Keep oils and conditioner away from the connections, brush gently and dry the roots thoroughly before sleeping. We’ll explain your full aftercare at your appointment.

Is Invisible Bond different from tape extensions?
It is an application option using our petite tape extensions. The hair system is the same; the difference is the single-sided connection and specialised seal. A classic sandwich connection uses two tape pieces around a fine section of natural hair.
Can I have Invisible Bond throughout my whole head?
For suitable applications using two packs or less, yes. For a fuller head of extensions, we use sandwich tapes through the lower, middle and internal rows so we can fit enough fullness, with Invisible Bond in the top row or two.
How close can the bonds go to my parting?
In suitable hair, Invisible Bonds can sometimes be placed as close as 1 cm from the parting. The position depends on your natural coverage, density, condition and desired style.
Can you create a fringe with Invisible Bond?
Yes, this is the bond option we use to create a fringe. We first assess your existing hair, coverage and the fringe you want, then plan the amount of hair and placement.
Does a single-sided bond give the same fullness as a sandwich?
A single-sided attachment holds one extension piece, while a sandwich holds two. For larger installations, we combine methods so the internal rows provide body and the upper rows have a discreet finish.
Is it suitable for fine or delicate hair?
The small, extremely lightweight connections can be useful for suitable fine or delicate hair. We assess your own hair before recommending extensions. If your hair cannot support them, we’ll discuss another option.
What adhesive is used, and how is it removed?
We use a hypoallergenic bond adhesive for the specialised seal. At professional removal, an alcohol-based solvent releases the adhesive gently, helping minimise pulling and pressure on the roots. Please don’t pull out or attempt to remove the connections yourself.
Can I wear my hair up?
Tell us how you like to wear your hair so we can plan around it. Visibility and the styles available depend on your natural coverage and placement. We’ll show you comfortable ways to style your hair without pulling on the connections.
When will I need maintenance?
Plan for maintenance every 5–6 weeks, with timing adjusted to your natural growth and your stylist’s assessment. With great aftercare and professional refitting, the hair can potentially last around 10–12 months.
