Begin with the area you want to cover
How much will a topper cover?
The base size describes the footprint of the topper. Hair length describes how far the hair falls. They are two different choices.
Width × front-to-back length
- 8 × 10 cm
- Focused coverage around the parting and a little either side.
- 9 × 14 cm
- A longer, narrow area along the parting towards the crown.
- 12 × 14 cm
- Broader coverage across the parting and crown.
- 16 × 18 cm
- A larger base to cover much of the top of the head.
Fit comes before size
We measure over the curve of your head and check the hair available around the thinning area for attachment. The smallest base is not always the most suitable.
There are sizes between these examples too. We can discuss custom measurements where needed.

Removable or salon fitted?
Clip on at home
Put your topper on and take it off yourself, with guidance on fit and care. Clip-on pieces do not need monthly salon refitting.
Fitted with rings
Suitable toppers can be attached with nano or micro rings and maintained approximately monthly. We assess your natural hair before recommending this option.
Selected glue-on options can also be discussed individually.

At your free consultation you can try suitable available pieces, compare bases and discuss attachment options. The exact selection available in the salon may vary.
How long does a topper last?
Expected wear varies with the piece, how often it is worn and how it is cared for. We discuss the care and replacement needs of your selected topper.
